Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry is operated by Interfaith Sharing, Inc., a non-profit coalition of local religious congregations, in association with the Alameda County Community Food Bank.

If you need food for yourself or your family, our Pantry is open 8:00 am to 9:00 am, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There are no forms to fill in, no questions asked. All we ask is that you limit your attendance to once per week, so that we can maximize the number of families we can help.

Food is supplied through donations from various organizations and businesses, including seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables from our own Big Heart Organic Garden and the Garden of Grace. A CalFresh outreach worker is available on-site for consultation on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

Clients receiving food from our Pantry, and who have a valid ID, may also qualify for a free eye exam and a pair of glasses through the One-Sight program by Lenscrafters®. Contact program coordinator Charisma Thomas for details of how to enroll in this program.
